I thought it would be a very simple matter to produce a meaningful size guide and conversion chart for our clothing ranges.  How wrong I was!  A lot of research produced more inconsistencies than I could cope easily with.  What I have distilled from all of this is what seems to be the most commonly used size guides and dimensions, and size  conversion relevant to the clothing we sell.

The clothes we sell are almost invariably designed and cut for a relaxed comfortable fit. To help you choose the correct size, use the charts below as a general guide only.  Please refer to the product description for more details. Our ranges are available to fit UK sizes 8-20  and are generally cut for average heights unless otherwise stated in our product descriptions.

Many of our clothing brands do not use conventional sizing as many such as eskandar, Yacco Maricard and the TM Collection produce predominantly one size clothing.  This does not mean that these one size garments will fit every conceivable size as who they fit best will depend on their shape and length.  For this reason we have given basic measurements for each garment and have tried to indicate for each of these garments who best they would fit.

We stock two fantastic French footwear brands, Robert Clergerie and Arche. Please note that we keep all season shoes in stock for those who, like me, travel through the year to different hemispheres.  As an Australian who has lived in the US, Europe and the UK, I have never quite got my head around what size shoe to try on.  Add to this the fact that I am a total fan of Robert Clergerie shoes which have a different sizing structure and you can understand the problem. The footwear conversion chart below is designed to work through the maze. However, your exact shoe size will ultimately depend on the structure of your foot and the style of the shoe.  Arche uses conventional European sizing.
