This gold necklace features an oval locket with a hand engraved pattern on the front. The locket opens and can hold two photos inside. Locket measures approx 19 x 14mm.
The chain and fittings are made from gold vermeil.
The locket is made from rolled gold; a ‘sandwich’ of layers of 9ct gold and brass permanently bonded by heating. This is a traditional method used in jewellery making, and is very durable.
