Membrillo is a firm and fruity quince paste that cries out for Manchego.
For more than 150 years Santa Teresa from Ávila, Spain has traditionally made Membrillo using only the finest hand-selected Spanish quinces. They choose to use the fresh quince flesh and never use pulp or additives. Their quince paste is also unlike others, being low in sugar and gluten-free. The resulting paste has a floral fragrance and a honeyed sweetness. Must be refrigerated.
