These exceptionally high quality Italian cannellini beans are grown by the Bartolini family, who are artisan producers farming in Umbria for six generations.
Cannellini beans are largely used in the traditional cuisine of the centre of Italy and they, as other legumes, belong to the fourth fundamental group of the food pyramid, being a source of complex carbohydrates, fibres, minerals and vitamins.
These have a wonderful smooth, creamy texture and sweet taste. Add to pasta, salads and soups.
