New is Danish label by basics which is what it says on the tin - basics. Across several different fabric groups that form beautifully soft and comfortable collections - blusbar merino, bamboo, cottonsense and OWN - you can build your own look by mixing and matching knitted and woven pieces. Designed and knitted in Denmark the knitted pieces are made in Poland while OWN, the woven collection, is made in Portugal. Almost everything in the collection works trans-seasonally.

by basics blusbar collection is a stylish and timeless basic collection, made of Oeko-Tex certified merino wool, knitted and designed in Denmark.  The wool comes from New Zealand and Australian mulesing-free merino sheep, known for the finest and softest wool. Every piece is hand-cut and made up in Poland when ordered thereby reducing waste. The knitted garments are light-weight with a predominance of raw edges and a crepe-like feel, making them truly trans-seasonal. Unbelievably they can also be machine washed and tumble-dried.

by basics’ bamboo is an uncomplicated and comfortable collection of high quality basic garments that coordinate with the other collections. The collection is made of 100% Oeko-Tex certified bamboo. This bamboo has many amazing properties - its fibre is as temperature regulating as wool, it is breathable and anti-bacterial and very soft.  bamboo from by basics is made by the Lyocell method.

OWN is the woven part of by basics' collections.  The small offering of cotton poplin shirts for autumn winter has been augmented by lovely linens this season.
