El Barco Delice Drinking Chocolate
Spain is the country through which chocolate was introduced to Europe in the 16th century; this means that there are skilful Spanish chocolatiers, with hundreds of years of accumulated knowledge. Founded in 1905, El Barco Delice continues to use their original nineteenth century recipes for their products. Drinking chocolate has always been favoured over solid chocolate in Spain and this rich, decadent drinking chocolate produced in Barcelona is thick, full flavoured and creamy, making it perfect for dipping churros in. Made from finely ground cocoa beans, its full-flavoured taste makes for a warming hot beverage for any chocolate aficionado.
INGREDIENTS
Sugar, fat-reduced cocoa powder, corn flour, cinnamon and vanilla
Gluten free.
Size: 500g
TO PREPARE
Stovetop: Pour the desired number of cups of milk into a saucepan and heat without bringing to the boil, adding two tablespoons per cup. Bring gently to the boil, stirring continuously. Remove from the heat and let the chocolate drink rest for a few minutes.
Microwave: Warm 200ml milk in a cup, add 2 tablespoons of drinking chocolate and stir until dissolved. Microwave for at least 1 minute. Let rest for a few minutes.
