A pack of green tea flavoured soba noodles. These soba noodles, infused with Japanese matcha green tea, have a slightly sweeter taste than regular soba and are a great choice for special occasions or a refreshing, light tea soba taste.
Background
Made from buckwheat, soba noodles are a Japanese staple, especially on hot summer days. They can be eaten hot or cold but are especially delicious served cold with a chilled light soy sauce, wasabi and topping of nori seaweed or spring onion.
How To Use
These soba noodles can either be eaten cool with a dipping sauce or garnished with seaweed and other vegetables.
• Put the soba in a pan of roughly 2 litres of boiling water.
• Mix lightly for approximately 4-5 minutes and then strain the soba.
• Wash amply with cold water to cool the soba down and serve.
