The Parsons Belt is named after the local blacksmith who crafted the original planished buckle plate. The buckle is lost-wax cast in England in solid brass or pewter. The belt is entirely hand-made with a 1 5/8” (40mm) hand-stitched strap and keeper loop. The strap is cut from 4mm waxed British Saddle leather which has a matt appearance when new yet begins to shine beautifully with use.
All Cherchbi leathers originate from British hides and are pit-tanned in England. This ancient process involves the hide's slow absorption of tree bark tannins to eventually become uniquely robust and luxurious leather.
The belt is packaged in a gift box and brushed cotton drawstring bag that can be used to polish the buckle or strap.
