Brindisa Iberico Pork Fat

From the Señorío de Montanera co-operative in Extremadura, famed for their Ibérico ham.
Fifty per cent of the pata negra black foot pig's fat is unsaturated fatty acids, in particular oleic acid. In other words, it doesn't have the cholesterol-raising quality of the saturated fats that you would expect to find in meat and pork products. So you can use Spanish Ibérico Pork Fat as a healthy (and delicious!) alternative to goose and duck fat and still have crispy more-ish roast potatoes this Christmas. In fact, once when my goose fat turned out to be rancid, I used Iberico Pork Fat and my roast potatoes were the best ever!
it's also excellent in pastries.
Ingredients: Pork fat, sunflower oil, antioxidants: BHA and BHT
190g jar Gluten Free
