A single estate organic tomato passata. The tomatoes are organically grown by Stefano at Azienda San Francesco in the open rolling plains of the Maremma, southern Tuscany and harvested in August for bottling. Their passata is outstandingly fresh as it is made within 24 hours of selected ripe tomatoes being picked from the vine. Passata di pomodoro is an essential kitchen basic in all Italian cooking and is indispensable as a foundation for different sauces and sugos.
