MARIANNE CAT is a French designer with her own exquisite boutique in Marseille selling fashion designers, jewellery, shoes as well as leather goods, beauty products, niche perfumes, 20th century furniture and objects. Like me, she is drawn to Japanese aesthetics and design that shine through her own limited collection of unique handbag designs made for her by a French artisanal house established over 40 years ago.

Using full grain calf leather (the highest quality leather), each bag is unlined and exquisitely crafted with a minimalist aesthetic.  While full grain leather is the most expensive and working with it is challenging, it develops a patina over time, a characteristic that attributes to its popularity. This bag will get more beautiful with wear.
