Pitted Taggiasche Black Olives in Oil.
100% Italian Taggiasca olives, picked from the plant at just the right ripeness and pitted. Variegated in colour and characterised by their small size and intense flavour, these olives are flavoured with aromatic herbs and are in extra virgin olive oil. Ideal as an aperitif, for pizzas and salads, and to accompany meat and fish dishes.
Although many people contend that they are better left whole, I have struggled for too many years getting the particularly tenacious stones out when using them in recipes.
