Sasawashi fabric is made from absorbent washi (Japanese paper) and deodorising kumazasa plant fibres. The firmness created by making a pile of SASAWASHI is comfortable for the feet. It quickly absorbs water after bathing to keep the feet dry. The natural antibacterial and deodorising effects of Kumazasa add to the pleasant feeling of use and cleanliness.

The more you use it, the softer and more textured it becomes. If you sweat a lot when you sleep, you can use it as a pillow. Some people say that it eases rashes and eczema around the neck caused by night sweats. Because of its high absorbency, the colour will change little by little after repeated washing due to colour transfer from the washing liquid, but there is no problem in using it. If you are concerned about the discolouration, we recommend washing it alone.
